You may sometimes see Student names greyed out when you view your Student List in your Class Folder. When this happens, it is usually due to the Student not being on the right version of Goodnotes to access the Lesson due to compatibility issues with the rest of the Class.
Here is an example of what you might see:
My Students are all on the latest version and I still see this!
If you have checked that all Students are on the latest version and you are still seeing greyed out names, it may be that the system has not taken note of their recent app updates yet. You can force this recognition by using the following steps:
- Remove the Student(s)
- Close the app
- Reopen and add the Student(s) back
