If you're experiencing issues creating new Lessons in a Class Folder or moving Lessons from My Documents to a Class Folder, you may encounter an error message stating, "Error occurred while moving the document to Class Folder."
What is causing this issue?
This issue can be caused by Goodnotes Classroom failing to authenticate your identity properly after an instance of logging out and back into the app. This can affect the ability to connect to your Class Folders.
How can I fix this?
This issue is usually quite easy to resolve by following the steps below:
- Make sure you have backed up your local documents in case you have made any new Lessons during this session. You can perform a Manual Backup for this step or export them manually one by one.
- Delete the app and reinstall it. You may need help from your IT Admin for this step depending on how your devices are managed. (When deleting the app, please make sure you are not only Offloading but rather deleting the app completely)
- Sign in again. Make sure you use the correct login method and account that you used when you set up your Goodnotes Classroom account.
