To successfully have your School or Institution running Goodnotes Classroom, you will need to set up and verify your Domain so that Students and Teachers are able to log in with your School's provisioned email addresses. This ensures secure, streamlined access for employees while preventing unauthorized use of your company’s domain. Doing this is simple with our Self-Service tool found in the Goodnotes Admin Console.
If you have not yet set up the Admin Console, you can learn about this here: Using the Goodnotes Admin Console.
Prerequisites
In order to complete this step, you will need to make sure that:
- Your School has activated its Classroom license and is running on the Goodnotes Admin Console.
- Your Account Role is set to Owner
- Your School has a working Domain
Steps to Verify
- Launch the Goodnotes Admin Console
- Go to Identity Provisioning > Domain Management
- If you haven't already, add the Domain using the button on the right-hand side.
- Click the three dots next to the Domain on the right-hand side and select View Verification Code.
- Follow the instructions to verify the Domain. (Copy your verification code provided, paste it as a new TXT record in your provider's DNS settings, and then click Verify domain)
- It may take up to 72 hours, but the system checks automatically and sends you an email once the domain is verified.
- After receiving confirmation, your domain is marked as Verified.
